The way to reset your Internet explorer web browser

 

1.Close all Internet browser windows

 

2.go to your start menu

 

3 click on the control panel

(Vista and 7 users choose, Network and internet)

 

4.find (internet Options) and open

 

Now we have the Internet properties window open

 

Under Internet properties you will find the word (General)

To the right of that you will see other words called TABS.

Such as

(Security, Privacy, Content, Connections, Programs and Advanced.

Click on the Advanced TAB

Do Not Look at the top part!

 

Look at the bottom of this tab. 
find (Restore Advanced Settings) Button.

Click on this button.

 

Next Click on the Button that says,(Reset).

Choose reset again at the next dialog box

After it resets, you will see green arrows and

the button at the bottom will say (Close).

 

After you click on Close,

The Internet Properties window Disappears.

Choose (Internet Options)

In your control panel again.

 

The Internet properties window reappears.

This time under the general tab,

Look for the clock in Browsing History area,

 

Put a check mark in the box beside the option,

(Delete Browsing History On Exit)

 

Next, Click on the (Delete) Button.

A window will appear.

In this area you can choose to

delete all areas with the appropriate check boxes.

Check all.

Click on (Delete)

 

Now a screen appears with a centipede type indicator.

Once this window disappears,

You are done.

You may want to make sure that your

other settings on the

 (connection Tab). 

 are set correctly with your ISP.
